What a way to finish off another successful year for this valuable youth project, than a fun afternoon at Tilligerry Skate Park, Mallabula.

Friday 15 December from 4:30pm will see the Tilligerry Youth Community Action group (TYCA) crew team up with Dj KiDream and Tuns one to host an afternoon of food, music, conversation and fun.

The event has been running for close to 12 years on the Tilligerry Peninsula.

It was originally an event run by Port Stephens Council, but has since been handed back to the community, and is run by TYCA.

TYCA is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organisation running youth programs in Port Stephens, with the goal of empowering young people to fulfil their potential.

Jamie Brewster from TYCA told News Of The Area, “We’re looking forward to our Tilligerry Snak ‘n’ Rap and having one last great event for 2017.”

“There’ll be lots happening, including DJ’ing, skating, street art and food.”

“Come along, we guarantee you’ll have fun,” he said.

Come and Join the TYCA crew, and rappers Tunz one and DJ KiDream, for a few hours of food, fun, music and conversation.
