A new headboard was installed over the Glenreagh Cemetery gate last week, a project initiated by the Orara Valley Lions Club and completed with the help of Coffs Harbour Hardwoods.

The project is the latest of many completed locally by the local Lions Club, while Coffs Harbour Hardwoods donated the timber, routed the letters and painted the sign.

They also helped the Lions members put it into place on site.

“Many thanks to Gary and all those helpers,” immediate past President Noel Backman said.

“Lions would also like to add a big thank you to one of the apprentices, Josh Howard, for the accurate routing and painting.”

The Lions Club members will now repaint the fence rails and posts to the entrance.
