Saturday, 8 December will see the return of the immensely popular Carols in Seaham Park.

Following the undeniable success of last year’s carols, the Raymond Terrace Lions Club, together with representative from the Seaham Park Committee, Seaham Rural fire, Seaham Scouts, and other community members will again host this fun family friendly event.

After receiving a Cultural Grant from the Port Stephens Council the Raymond Terrace Lions Club has enhanced the event this year with the addition of a jumping castle and professional performers.

Mr Bob Findley Chair of the Seaham Carols committee said, “There will be no shortage of entertainment, food, and music for all the family beginning at 5:30pm.”

The Carols will begin at 7:00pm, and of course a very special visitor in a big red coat and shiny black boots.

This is a special evening for all members of the Seaham community and surrounding areas to relax and unwind.

Be sure to bring your picnic rug, chairs, torches and insect repellent to the Seaham Park on Warren Road, Seaham for this free community event.

Funds raised from sales and money collected in the donation bucket will primarily going toward Lions support of drought relief in the Hunter.

Mr Findley told News Of The Area, “The local scouts, RFS and the Seaham Park committee will also benefit from the money raised at this year’s Carols.”
