This month’s concert by Sage was fantastic, fun and professional, both musically and visually.

Band member John Carter added, “Our concerts bring back many great musical memories and we get your feet tapping as you sing along in climate-controlled comfort and there are plenty of seats!”

The one-hour performance showcased a range of popular music, mixing classic rock with ‘golden oldies’, including the Beatles’ I Wanna Hold Your Hand, the haunting Bali Ha’i from the musical South Pacific, and the popular country stylings of Dolly Parton’s Working 9 to 5.

Young or old, the bands are inviting locals to come and sing along to Chuck Berry and to musicals like Oklahoma, with free ice cream and an opportunity to socialise at the end.

The Tea Gardens Baptist Church is located at 115 Myall St, Tea Gardens (0414 662 268) with the next LIVE LIVE LIVE concert on Thursday 17 June starting at 2pm.
