Ask Magician Quenorie Eades what she loves about performing and she tell you, “It’s not the destination, it’s the ride.”

Due to popular demand, Quenorie was back at the Tea Gardens Library last week to entertain more than 30 youngsters in a show that leaves her audience in stitches.

Four-year-old Keeley McMahon was among the spellbound crowd.

Her mum, Jodie, said, “She’d been looking forward to it for weeks.”

“Last night, she was a little bit worried that they were going to turn her into a frog,” Jodie told News Of The Area.

But of course, they turned her into a Princess.

Quenorie Eades has loved magic since childhood but it wasn’t until she became a mum herself that she decided to take it more seriously.

‘’Sometimes things don’t always go to plan,” she said.

“I went to a holiday park and one of the tricks went wrong and there was a little boy in the audience who yelled, ‘Fail,Epic,

Fail’ and I thought, that’s it, if I’m going to do this I have to do it well.”

Quenorie’s magic appeals to the young and young at heart.

Cessnock sisters, 11-year-old Jordan and Madison aged eight, were visiting their nan who lives in Tea Gardens.

“We loved all of it and it was too hard to decide which part was the best.”

And just a reminder all 11 MidCoast Libraries will be closed on Monday 13 February so staff can take part in a strategic planning and development day.

For those wanting to return items, the after-hours chutes will be available at all branches.
