After just three games on a ‘for and against’ basis they have amassed over 120 points and conceded a mere 40 or so.

This indicates rock solid defence as well as a well-oiled attacking capability.

Meanwhile, the open female NRL tag team has bonded well and improve with every run.

This is their first season as a side and after a loss and a draw they were rewarded with a convincing 20 – 4 win in an away game.

With one game following the other at their home ground (Vince Woodman Oval Mallabula) the club expects record spectator attendances and the canteen has been ordering in extra food and drinks in anticipation.

The ten junior sides are also faring well with the under 14s undefeated and Takerai Kuru making the Newcastle representative side.

Callum Redrift in the under 13s also made it to the top 30 cut in his age group.

Both the seniors and juniors have more details on their Facebook pages.
