Police from Bulahdelah are investigating two separate assault matters that occurred in the area over the past fortnight.

On the 8 June 2015 a 56 year old man was assaulted and suffered minor injuries at his Smiths Lake home following what was believed to be a road rage incident earlier the same day.

On the 7 June at Coolongolook a 53 year old woman suffered minor injuries after allegedly being assaulted near her home address.

Both victims were not known to their assailants and inquiries are continuing into both incidents.
