The students, who dance with Dance ‘n Dazzle studio, passed with flying colours across all grades.

They have been collectively working hard for the past 12 months on their grade work.

Exams improve their confidence, technique and overall ability, as well as help them become accredited themselves.

Studio owner, Corynne Darcy told News Of The Area, “I’m very proud of them all, they have worked so hard for these results.”
“We are proud to say we have a 100 percent pass rate with our students, and I couldn’t be happier with how well they have done,” she said.

This year, the studio had five grades assessed ranging from Pre-Test 1 up to Gold Medal.

When students have complete all of the grades, they can achieve a diploma in Tap Dance teaching.

An independent LGTDA examiner assessed the girls on their technique, timing and talent.

“When professional outside examiners conduct the exams, it truly is a true, unbiased assessment of how the girls are doing,” Ms Darcy added.

The tap exam is made up of barre work, centre work, oral theory, and a dance solo.

The examiner was Mrs Julie England.

The studio is now working towards their ATOD ballet, jazz and national character exams to be held at the end of August.
