COFFS Harbour and Port Macquarie played out a thrilling 22 all draw in difficult conditions at Port Macquarie on Saturday whilst competition leaders Hastings Valley Vikings went down to the Kempsey Cannonballs by 41- 33 at Crescent Head.
After 8 Rounds the Vikings retain the lead on the table with 23 points, ahead of Port Macquarie (19), Coffs Harbour and Kempsey (17), and Southern Cross Uni still within striking distance on 12 points.
Only one game in the Lower Mid North Coast this week with Wallamba defeating the competition leaders Manning River Ratz in a tight match 21 – 7.
This was the Ratz first home game of the season due to the closure of their ground during the floods, and a fire in their Club Rooms.
