MIDCOAST Council works around the area are as follows.

HAWKS NEST – Yamba Street. Council undertook work to improve drainage.  Works included constructing a section of piped stormwater to extend the existing line. Work is complete.

HAWKS NEST – Kingfisher Avenue.  Wheel stops are to be removed along the footpath on Kingfisher Avenue between the Singing Bridge and Ibis St as per request and grant funding from Hawks Nest / Tea Gardens Progress Association. Works commenced.

MONKERAI – Monkerai Road, Dicksons Crossing, Lawlers Creek Road, Upper Monkerai Road. Significant gravel re-sheeting works was undertaken.  Work is complete.

STROUD ROAD – Bucketts Way (at Stroud Hill Rd). Council has upgraded the road to improve its condition and safety. Work is complete.

BUNGWAHL – The Lakes Way. Road reconstruction work south of Seal Rocks Road intersection. Work is commenced and will take approximately three months.

THE BRANCH – The Branch Lane. Gravel resheeting is planned for several segments of the Branch Lane (Seg 30, Seg 50,Seg 120). Work is progressing with some delays due to wet weather.

PINDIMAR – Clarke Street. Council undertook work to improve drainage.  A new culvert has been installed across Clarke Street adjacent to the Cambage Street intersection . This allows for stormwater to be transferred to the opposite side of the road where it can drain into the existing piped drainage system. Work is complete.

MIDCOAST Council project  works around the area are as follows.

PINDIMAR – Foreshore. The foreshore around the large pine tree has been eroded. Works will include the reconstruction of a rock retaining wall around the site to protect the tree. Nearing completion. Minor reinstatement works required.

TEA GARDENS – Eloura Park (Lions Lookout). A parking area is being constructed to provide access to the proposed dump point in Eloura Park. This will be constructed between the two existing toilet buildings.  Parking area has been constructed. Sealing expected to occur within the next week.
