Murray’s Brewery is celebrating its eleventh birthday these school holidays with the release of two limited edition beers and a free Blues concert.

Murray’s once a year Mango Beer and Anniversary Ale 11 will also be unveiled on 26 December as part of this year’s Boxing Day Blues, Brews & BBQ’s Festival.

The festival is a tribute to flavour, fine tunes and family fun.

It will be a great opportunity to sample a range of Murray’s medal-winning craft beer styles and flavours, as well as taste and enjoy a great selection of easy drinking local and regional wines.

Local favourite Brien McVernon will perform the blues from midday with a free concert in the beautiful vine and eucalypt grounds.

The Brewery’s undercover facilities will ensure that events will proceed rain, hail or shine.

Brewery owner Murray Howe is expecting a new release interactive kids’ game is going to be a huge hit with the kids.

“The space for kids to play is one of the most consistent compliments we receive,” Murray Howe said.

“We’ve launched “Pirate Bob’s Scavenger Hunt”, an interactive mobile app that takes the kids on a random adventure searching for treasure on our property.”

“You can find it on the App Store or Google Play, then you can sit back, relax and watch the kids wear themselves out!” he said.

Parents can enjoy some delicious summer food sensations with some great kids’ meals available too.

Murray’s Brewery and Port Stephens Winery is very family friendly, and children are welcome.

The day begins at 10am until 6pm with the concert from 12 noon.

It will be free entry but bookings are essential.
