MYALL Coast Mudcrabs headed north last Saturday to play against the Wallamba Bulls at their home ground, Nabiac,  in Round 11 of the Lower Mid North Coast Rugby Union Competition.

With the Mudcrabs numbering fourteen in total and a number of walking wounded, the task ahead was always going to be difficult against a full fielded team with eight or nine on the bench together with the Bulls high aspirations to win the competition.

Our players gave it their all and were highly competitive in the first twenty minutes then unfortunately injuries and lack of numbers began to take its toll.

During the second half, the Muddies wilted under extreme pressure from the Wallamba Bullsbut all still tried their hardest with best for the Muddies James Farmer for his typical robust play both in attack and defencesupportd by Ashley Rushby, Jackson Page and new “dadda” Evan McLauchlan.

In the backs Tristan Tansey played well but the standout with an outstanding game in all areas was Nathan Colver.

Final score Wallamba Bulls 52, Myall Coast Mudcrabs 3.
