Myall Masters Swimmers in the NSW State Championships

Congratulations to our dedicated swimmers who took part in the NSW State Championships held at the Olympic Pool at Homebush on weekend of 21 and 22 March.

Gold and silver places were achieved for Chris Sefton, Chris Lock, Chris Mobbs and Peter King.

Myall Masters is truly a very competitive club in NSW.

Also coming out of the State Championships were a number of outstanding announcements for Myall Masters Swimming.

Peter King was announced as Champion in his age group (80-84 years), accumulating the most points for individual swims in competitions throughout the calendar year.

Peter swam at club meets throughout NSW and Championship events for long course, short course in both NSW and QLD.

Peter now heads off to Hobart in April for the National Masters Championships.

Also announced was Judy Glover as volunteer of the month for March.

This award was a first for the Myall Masters club.

Judy is solely responsible for the organisation of the clubs handicap swim nights, recording the places, point scores and most improved and with trophies for points, places and most improved presented at the club presentation night.

Leon Bobako was announced as record holder for both 25m and 50m Short Course Breastroke.

Chris Lock has also gained his certificate of accreditation as Chief Timekeeper.
