Four Bulahdelah Central School students attended the event and had some amazing results.

The event was held at the Sydney Olympic Park and committed parents drove down with their children to be able to participate in heats and then finals.

Bianca Mason had an outstanding result and placed 2nd in Triple Jump and 4th in Long Jump and 100m.

She also participated in the 200m race and placed 10th.

Ellie Gooch placed 4th in the 800m, running a whole 8 seconds faster in the final than her heat time.

Matthew Williams participated in the 1500m and placed 12th.

Brendan Mason competed in the Hurdles and placed 14th.

Brooke Mackenzie, the BCS Sports Coordinator wishes to congratulate these students for their outstanding achievements.

“It was great that the parents could drive down to Sydney and encourage their children to participate.

It is an achievement to have Bulahdelah Central School participating in state events like this and getting amazing results.”

The students were all participating at different times over the three day period but they enjoyed the experience of competing at this level at different athletic events.
