Stolen number plates can be fitted to a stolen vehicle and the car used for committing criminal offences including petrol theft.

Neighbourhood Watch Medowie is holding a free community event to provide a solution to counteract number plate theft.

The event to be held on 30 March, 2019 will run from 9.00am to 12noon in the Bull’n’Bush Hotel carpark on Ferodale Road, Medowie.

Free supply and fitting of anti theft number plate screws will be provided to car owners.

The Police Bus will be in attendance giving residents an opportunity to meet local police officers and discuss policing matters that are of concern to the community.

Also on display will be the latest in home safety.

All residents are invited to attend.
