‘One for the Boys’ fundraiser at Bulahdelah

Organisers of the “One for the Boys” Fundraiser at the Bulahdelah Bowling Club on 23 May wish to thank the Bulahdelah Community for supporting the event as it was a great night that showed a lot of community spirit.

The fundraising event began with a kids disco from 3.00pm – 5.00pm.

This event was a $1 entry and approximately 40 children turned up.

From 7.30pm onwards there was live music courtesy of the band “Brewhaha”.

Raffles were held throughout the night and an Auction with donated items like a new Banana Boat surfboard and a weekend away at Eco Point Cottages were up for grabs.

The events of the night raised $4300.00.

Sheryl Barry spoke to Myall Coast News and she stated that the night was a success and there will be a donation made on behalf of the Bulahdelah Community to the Westmead’s Children’s Burn Unit – Rehabilitation Unit.

Sheryl Barry, Jess Smith, Leonie Watt, Alisha Smith and Renee Valentine worked in conjunction with the Bulahdelah Bowling Club to make this a special night.
