Dear Denise,
The Dry Spell has ruined my gardens, I don’t know where to start to fix it.

Although we are entering Autumn & you can already feel the nights & mornings starting to cool down, it has been an incredibly dry spell. There are numerous back yards & gardens suffering in the area at present, so know that at least you’re not alone.

I would suggest that if your plants are burnt from the recent heatwave, ensure that they at least look tidy. Remove any plants or shrubs that are already dead. Trim back ones that have browned off or have dead sections or tips.

Ensure all garden beds & lawns are weed free. Remove weeds between paver cracks. Do your driveway or pathway areas require a gurney? Your footpath & driveway are one of the first impressions a prospective purchaser takes in.

Replace any potted plants now with some pretty colours that match your homes exterior colour theme. Purchase some new pots to brighten things up.

It’s all about being proactive, keeping on top of things & viewing your property with fresh eyes at all times. Don’t become complacent & think that nobody will notice the small things.

Hope this helps
Denise
