Great Question. Generally Spring gives us an opportunity to joosh the house out of any winter doldrums. Whether you’re already on the market or just about to list it for sale here are a few tips I suggest to make it market ready and achieve more dollars in your pocket.

Open up and air the home out getting rid of any stale winter mouldy odours. Of course if you do have mould remove it with a good clean. Cobweb & dust walls, vents, ceiling fans, wood fire areas.

Deep clean your carpets & rugs, wash and air out soft furnishings & bed linen including pillows.

Bring your outdoor furniture back into the picture with a good clean & repairs if required. Or maybe you need to ditch the old and revamp with something new!

Mulch the garden beds giving them a low maintenance, tidy appearance. De-clutter garden ornaments. Too many just look old fashioned. Go for simple & stylish garden art instead.

Remove any winter casualties; dead plants need to be composted or binned.

Once completed with your spring makeover have fresh professional photography taken including your outdoor spaces and gardens.

Hope this helps.
Denise
