Police appeal for information following armed robbery at luxury store

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a luxury accessories retailer in Sydney’s CBD earlier this year.

About 4.45pm on Thursday 17 March 2016, a disguised man armed with a hammer entered the store in King Street, Sydney and demanded property from staff.

The man stole a large amount of cash and several valuable watches and was last seen entering a stolen Porsche being driven by a second man who police believe is a highly skilled driver. That vehicle was later located abandoned in Zetland.

Police have now released CCTV images of two people they believe can assist with their inquiries.

The first person is described as a male of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, a muscular build and about 180cm tall.

In the image he is wearing a grey hooded jumper bearing a South Sydney Rabbitohs team emblem, yellow reflective vest, red scarf and is carrying a blue and white back pack. His right hand was wrapped in a bandage.

The second person is described as a male, about 190cm tall, with a thin build and tanned complexion. In the image he is wearing a baseball cap, dark sunglasses, blue and grey jumper, dark track pants and Nike shoes.

Police are urging anyone who recognises the men to contact police.
