This is one of just two Friday night events for the club in the 2017 season.
The Under 13s combined Maitland/Port Stephens team took on Lake Macquarie under the lights and in the fog at Ferodale Oval in front of a great crowd of locals who came down to watch.

President of Port Stephens Power, Mel Nelson, told News Of The Area, “Although we didn’t snag the win, every single kid enjoyed playing at night, and in fog.”

As we wrap up National Volunteer Week, Ms Nelson took the opportunity to acknowledge the hard work that goes into running their club.
“I would like to thank everyone on the committee at PSPJAFC and remind you that  your hard work does not go unnoticed.”
“The committee is run by dedicated volunteers who enjoy the sport for themselves and/or their children, and without you all the club wouldn’t be what it is today.”
“I would also like to thank all the parents and caregivers that take care of the weekly rostered duties. you all help the games run extremely well,” she said.

The club encourage anyone to come along and join them at their games to cheer the juniors along.

You can follow the progress of the club on their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/PSJAFC/.
