Heading into the new year crime has been minimal in Tilligerry according to Senior Constable Luke Rogers.
“We’ve had a couple of minor alcohol fuelled issues over the festive week but nothing out of the ordinary,” he said.

“Parking problems have developed along the main road with people watching the fireworks display at the RSL.”
“We may very well have to install signage to keep this area safe for all,” Constable Rodgers told News Of The Area.
“I would remind bike riders to wear safety helmets at all times and to warn unlicensed quad bike riders that this incurs a $550 fine. A bike rider can cop a $319 ticket for not wearing a helmet.”
“Despite the searing heat, it is also wise to to lock windows and doors at night as open windows and unlocked screen doors are an open invitation for potential thieves to enter houses.”
