Moving from Sydney to operate the business, Ms Saunders, a former caterer has opted for a tree change in coming to Medowie.

She was attracted to the community-mindedness of Medowie locals, having visited the town many times over the past 12 years, deciding to settle permanently in order to start up Sportz Café.

Currently open 7 days, 7am-4pm weekdays and 8am-3pm on weekends, once the attached gym opens on 15 June, hours will be extended to meet customer demand.

Located at 58 Ferodale Road (next to Wirreanda Public School), and occupying part of the soon to be opened Gym, Sportz Café has made a commitment to locally-sourced produce.

able to customise their orders to their taste, and the crème de la crème of café treats, scooped ice-cream.
