THE owners of the Tea Gardens Hotel, Ben and Emily Hanson, have already made a good impression on the community in Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest, after only a year of owning the Hotel, and making some great changes.

This weekend, if you’ve never been to Tea Gardens, this is the weekend to plan a trip up North to try it out.

Friday night there is a kids disco at the Hotel, with party food, fun games and tunes for the kids to have a ball while the adults kick back in the restaurant and bar and enjoy a meal.

Tea Gardens Hotel are becoming well known for their top quality, fresh cooked foods.

You can enjoy a variety of meals, from their fish cones and great steaks, to pizzas and gourmet pies.

On saturday night, come along and enjoy ‘Marriah Band’ as they cover all the classics.

Marriah’s high energy riff driven rock echoes influences from Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Cold Chisel, Divinyls and the Gunner’s, plus many more favourites from the 70’s and 80’s as the foundation of their repertoire.

Annie Cee, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist from Marriah Band, said, “Possessing an extensive and varied rock pedigree, we came together four years ago and have been gigging country/city and up and down the coast ever since.”

Marriah Band is Annie Cee on lead vocalist and rhythm guitar, Scott Grice on lead guitar and back up vocals, Paul Job on drums and percussion, and Wayne McCrae on bass guitar, vocals and on stage sound.

Marriah have a diverse repertoire that is guaranteed to make for a great night out.
