Mumm’s on the Myall has just been nominated as a finalist in the Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering Hostplus Awards For Excellence in the Seafood Restaurant category.

“There are only four finalists, and we are competing with Regional restaurants across all of New South Wales, excluding Sydney,” Mumm’s Jenna Menzies told News Of The Area.

To earn a place in the finals, the restaurant was judged in secret with none of the staff at Mumm’s aware they were being assessed on all fronts.

“They came in as a blind tasting and we assume there was a group of four people dining,” Jenna said.

“They judge you from all aspects, from the food, customer service, outlook, venue, it’s the whole experience.”

“It’s very exciting, they’ll announce the winner at an awards night at Luna Park in Sydney in September.”

“It’s great that all our hard work is paying off.”

Jenna returned to Tea Gardens two years ago and has been running Mumm’s for the past year.
