This Saturday 3 December, the Tea Gardens Baptist Church is holding its annual Trash and Treasure Car Boot Sale.

There will be something for everyone from jewellery to CDs, DVDs toys and dolls, antiques and bric-a-brac stalls.

There’ll also be plenty of plants to freshen up your garden.

“The whole church gets behind the Car Boot Sale,” organiser Sue Roberts told New Of The Area.

“Everybody does a little bit.”

“There are people who put up the gazebos, then there’s the catering, organising the stalls, the selling, cleaning up afterwards, everyone gets involved,” Sue said.

There is a free morning tea and a $2 sausage sizzle to whet the appetite.

The Trash and Treasure is now in its third year with all money raised going to the missions.

There are still vacancies if you would like to participate as a stall holder.

To book a site or for any inquiries call Sue on 0403 233 000.

The Trash and Treasure is being held in the grounds of the Myall Street Baptist Church this Saturday between 8.30am and noon.
