Bette has played bowls previously, Jean a novice bowler, both decided to join after playing at Sunday bowls, “Introduction to Bowls”. Thursday 22nd: Members from Lake Cathie Women’s Bowling Club joined us in a playing a good day of social bowls. Teams were a mixture of both clubs, randomly selected. Gusty winds proved a challenge for most bowlers. Winners on the day were Ann Constantine (Lake Cathie), Jill McBride and the skip was shared by Liz Kelly and Lyn Green.
