Thieves targeted three homes in the Palm Lake Resort and another house in the Grange.

The break ins all occurred Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.

Police say they took cash, but left behind other valuables such as jewellery and credit cards.

Senior Constable Rob Wylie from Tea Gardens police said, “We are following a number of leads and forensics have taken fingerprints from the homes that were targeted.”

“These were opportunistic thieves, so we’re calling on the community to be more vigilant in locking all doors and windows.”

None of the residents, some of whom were asleep at the time of the robberies, was injured.
