When you think water and paint you don’t usually think of the Library but then again we’re always full of surprises here!

For Tea Gardens, on Wednesday 23 September from 2:30 – 3:30pm kids will have a fun spring activity of painting and adorning a clay pot and saucer and time permitting, we will craft some birds and bees and flowers.

“We want to encourage you to roll up your sleeves and head out in the garden in this spectacular weather,” said a spokesperson at the Library.

“Then on Wednesday 30 September join us for some wet educational activity when Kirsty from Midcoast Water will help us to explore samples of our local waterways and find out which are the good bugs or the bad bugs – and the stories they have to tell us about our area.”

Both activities are free and bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.  At Forster Library these holidays kids will love some wet educational activity when Kirsty from Midcoast Water will help explore samples of our local waterways and find out which are the good bugs or the bad bugs – and the stories they tell us about our area.

“We have some cool ideas for you to try at home – with parent’s supervision.”
