THREE Hawk 127 jets from Number 76 Squadron will be conducting formation manoeuvring overhead Royal Australian Air Force Base Williamtown on Friday, 24 June.

The flying will take place at approximately 12:00pm in support of Number 50 and 51 Introductory Fighter Course graduations and Number 76 Squadron Family Day activities.

The aircraft will form Echelon, Victory and Arrowhead formations including a ‘bomb burst’.

A solo Hawk 127 will then separate from the flying formation and conduct an aerial display over the Base before joining the remaining jets to conduct a simulated ‘airfield attack’.

The solo handling display will be conducted at 200 metres above ground level and fly at speeds up to 1000km/h.
