Woman dies in three car crash at Beresfield

Inquiries are continuing after a woman died in a three-vehicle crash at Beresfield this afternoon (Thursday 21 May 2015).

About 4.10pm emergency services were called to John Renshaw Drive.

When they arrived, police and NSW Ambulance Paramedics found a 23-year-old woman had died. She was the driver and sole occupant of a Holden Commodore.

After being assessed by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene, the female driver of a station wagon was taken to John Hunter Hospital. She is receiving further treatment for suspected leg and internal injuries

A male, who was also travelling in the station wagon, sustained minor injuries

The occupants of the third vehicle only sustained minor injuries.
