Last week the Karuah Roos took on the Glendale Gorilla’s at Lionel Morten Oval the Game Day Sponsors were K.W Baker Painting and Karuah Kitchens.

The Roos were first to put points on the board with #3 Jake Langdon scoring in the first few minutes 4/0, then 2 more quick tries by #1 Trent Saunders and #6 Matt Cameron and #6 Sam Croese converting 14/0, before Glendale put points on 14/6.

Great runs by the Roos Mitch O’Bryan, the Langdon brothers Ben and Jake, Mitch Napier, Darren Weatherall, Nathan Ritzau, Luke Perry Dylan Foley and the Croese boys Jack and Sam.

Sam Croese was next in for the Roos and with the conversion he took the score to Roos 20 Gorilla’s 6.

Glendale were fighting back 20/10, but then #10 Jack Croese crossed for the Roos and with Sam converting 26/10 and #2 Luke Perry taking the Score to 30/10.

Before half time the Gorilla’s were in making the half time score 30 Roos 14 Gorillas.

Some big hits by the Roos were Ryan Saunders, Matt Weatherall, Luke Perry, Mitch O’Bryan, Aaron Bills, Sam Croese, Luke Chapman and Darren Weatherall.

Second half saw the Gorillas score first 30/18. But not long after #4 Mitch O’Bryan countered with Sam converting 36/18.

Some good yards were made by the Roos Mitch O’Bryan, Jack Croese, Ben Langdon, Matt Cameron, Ryan Saunders and Darren Weatherall.

Big hits by Aaron Bills, Ryan Saunders, Mitch Napier, Matt Cameron and Tim Johnson. And a great try saving tack in the corner by Nathan Ritzau.

The Final score was Karuah 36 Glendale 28.

Players Player 3 points #11 Ben Langdon, #16 Darren Weatherall, #4 Mitch O’Bryan. Man on the Hill was #2 Luke Perry and Coaches Award was #17 Nathan Ritzau.
