Our beautiful area is known as a ‘Blue Water Paradise’ and as Summer approaches it’s time to get prepared for the boating season ahead.
A little time invested in the pre-season may save your life.
Expect to get stopped and checked here in the Bay during the ‘Boat Safe’ period.
Authorities are urging people to take the time now to ensure that your vessel and safety equipment are in tip top condition for the upcoming boating season.
Remember, if you look after your lifejacket, it will look after you.
Always look for wear and tear on your lifejacket, ensure the air cartridge is hand tight and make sure the pull cord is ready for use.
