THE first day of winter brought with it the weekly evening social darts held at Hawks Nest Golf Club.

A very competitive evening of darts then ensued with the mixed doubles team winners being Geoff Smith and Paul Bennett.

The mixed doubles runner-up team was Trevor Peirson and Darren Rapley.

The ladies’ highest score competition winner was Lyn Peirson achieving 100 great darting points.

The men’s highest score competition winner was Trevor Peirson, achieving 135 well earned points.
