ON Tuesday 13 June, 43 members and guests of Tomaree Ladies Probus took a trip down memory lane when they were treated to a day of Diva Fever at Buttai Barn.
Songs and stories of female musical legends of the 50s, 60s and 70s were performed by the beautiful voice of Maureen O’Brien accompanied by two very talented musicians – Heath Parker and Pete Farrell.
On arrival the ladies were treated to a morning tea of home-made scones, followed by a two-course lunch.
They sang along to the songs of Doris Day, Eartha Kitt, Judy Garland and many of the very talented performers of that era. Tomaree Ladies Probus is a very friendly and social club and they welcome new members and guests.
