To make sure everyone is prepared, the Pindimar/Tea Gardens Rural Bushfire Brigade is holding an Open Day this Saturday 16 September in the Coles Car Park of the Myall Quays Shopping Centre.
Brigade Captain Helmut Panhuber is hoping to have maps of the Community Protection Plans for Hawks Nest, Pindimar and Bundabah area.
A number of Hazard Reductions have already taken place with more planned.
