Julie was also supported by a number of teachers from Karuah Public School.

The award winners for this week were;

Mikayla Anderson from Hunter River High School, awarded for her involvement in raising $3,500 for the Dolly’s Dream Foundation.

Mikayla helped by selling raffle tickets, helping with the setting up and packing up and organising and participating in activities and events during the day.

William Reynolds from Karuah Public School, for his outstanding attitude while representing Karuah Public School at the Hunter River High Showcase performance.

Will always demonstrates respect, responsibility and pride.

Tyler Longworth from Irrawang Public School for being trustworthy and honest.

Tyler found $10 and handed it in so that the rightful owner could be found.

Hamish from Salt Ash Public School, for being really kind and considerate when a younger child fell over.

He stayed with them until their mother arrived.

Isabelle Ping from Grahamstown Public School, for proudly representing her school in the community at the Raymond Terrace Lions Club Junior Public Speaking Competition.

Leelah Marks from Irrawang High School, for being involved in the netball gala day, girls rugby league gala day and Showcase, as well as other CAPA activities.

Leelah has shown a huge commitment to all activities, and made herself available for these opportunities.

Leelah’s attitude and behaviour, whilst involved in each activity, displayed all three core school values of respect, responsibility and personal best.

Connor Worthy from Medowie Public School, for always using his manners when using the school crossing.

Bridie Gillon from Seaham Public School, for being an outstanding Seaham Citizen.

Bridie is a fantastic buddy for her kindergarten student.

Bridie uses her own time to assist with making props for the school musical, and is a tremendous help in looking after the school chickens.

Chelsea McFadyen from Raymond Terrace Public School, for proudly representing Raymond Terrace Public School in the community, when presenting her speech at the Lions Club Public Speaking Competition.

Well done to these young people.
