THE Coffs Harbour Comets hosted a big day of rugby league at Geoff King Motors Oval during Round 4 of the Group 2 Junior Rugby League season.
The Coffs Harbour Comets and Woolgoolga Seahorses under 16’s faced off during the final game of the day.
The first half was punctuated by handling errors and brutal defence.
The Seahorses scored first to take a 6-0 lead, before a beautiful length of the field run saw them score again to take a 12-0 lead.
The Seahorses defence remained staunch, stopping a number of Comets attacking forays.
The Seahorses’ dominant defensive display saw them take a 12-0 lead into halftime.
The visitors would eventually win 18-10.
