A celebration of wellbeing and the mystic in Raymond Terrace

The festival has been created as a fun, family-friendly event for the community, offering a variety of wellbeing and spiritual services.

A WELLBEING and Mystic Festival/Children’s Day will be held at The Rectory in Raymond Terrace on Saturday 4 November from 10am to 5pm.

The first Wellbeing and Mystic Festival took place at the same venue in 2017.

“In the first couple of years the event grew in popularity and the festival enjoyed success in larger venues including The Station in Newcastle and Speers Point Park,” Festival organiser Kathy Smith said.

“Now we are excited to bring this festival back to home ground amongst the glorious jacaranda trees once more.

“Originally the festival was created as a fun, family friendly environment for the community, offering a variety of wellbeing and spiritual services, this year’s event I assure will be even more so,” Kathy said.

Entry to the festival is free, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy what’s on offer.

“This joyful day helps people to relax and explore to find what they truly resonate with without pressure to experience or satisfy curiosity for individual personal growth.”

Kathy said the festival’s aim is to support people to find peace, happiness and purpose.

“This festival to me personally is extraordinary, it is my passion.

“It’s about heart and soul, and deep caring for our community.

“We can make it a better world.”

This year’s iteration of the festival has more of a focus on children and youth.

“Knowing how our community and children are in so much need with the disturbing increase in juvenile crime issues, we decided to connect more deeply with families and children by putting a stronger emphasis on information to support our young and families.”

The festival also encourages youth creativity through Singing and Colouring In competitions.

Prize money has been kindly donated by Steve Bates Real Estate, Raymond Terrace Bowling Club, Wellbeing and Mystic Services, Hunter Hypnosis, Soul Level Services, and Heart and Soul Port Stephens.

A range of fun activities will be offered on the Rectory grounds.

These include:

– Face Painting

– Make your own Teddy Bear

– Children’s Book Readings with Chrissy Hampton at 10.45 am and 12.45 pm

– Learn to play African Drums at 11 am, 2 pm and 3.30pm

– Reiki Healings

– A variety of stalls including crystals, spiritual items, pottery, flowers and essential oils

Apart from over 40 stalls on the Rectory grounds, a designated Reading Room will be set up at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club, with half the auditorium filled with readers, mediums and psychometry.

The other half of the room will feature aura photography, spirit guide drawings, crystals, crystal life path readings, iridology and naturopathic services.
