The side of the Vince’s Building is now featuring a koala and asks people to simply slow down.

Rhys Fabris told News Of The Area, “Living locally I have witnessed so many accidents on this corner, it’s more than just the koalas.”

He believes we all need to simply slow down to save the lives of the local fauna.

“The colours are a bit blue and sadder than the other works he has created around Anna Bay.”

The work took around 50 litres of paint and raises awareness for the plight of local animals.

Next on Rhys’s list is the wall on the side of Real Estate at Anna Bay and finishing the wall in the alley off Magnus Street Nelson Bay.

The wall in Anna Bay will feature local native flowers.

Rhys is always looking at walls around town and seeing walls that can be brightened adding to the outdoor gallery trail.

He has a vision to bring artists from around Australis and the world to come and help the town.

He is inspired by the community working together to make Anna Bay a great place to live.
