BULAHDELAH’S Bendigo Bank Agency is now open for business, and is offering a full range of banking services for the community.

“It’s a country bank, and will look after all of us,” Agent Judy Dixon said.
“There has been some concern from the community about how long is it going to stay for, but Bendigo Bank is here for the long-haul.”
Mrs Dixon said “a lot of blood, sweat and tears” went into getting the Agency up and running.
“We approached a lot of banks, and Bendigo Bank was the only one that wanted to come,” she said.
“They are very happy to be able to work with the community, but it is now up to the locals to support it.”
An Official Opening of the Agency will be held on Thursday 8 June from 10am-2pm.
A barbeque, giveaways and a visit from Bendigo Bank Mascot Piggy are some of the many activities planned for the celebration.
Staff from the Port Macquarie branch will also be on hand during the festivities to answer questions about the banking services available which include new accounts, deposits, cash withdrawals, bank cheques, loans and term deposits.
“We are hoping that it is going to be a big day and everyone is invited to come along,” Mrs Dixon told News Of The Area.
The Bulahdelah Agency is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
