The same can be said for the members and guests of the Tilligerry RSL Club, rocking out to the party tunes of solo guitar and vocalist, Bernie.

Bernie began playing guitar at the early age of nine years old.

Following six years of lessons in Sydney he moved to the Central West continued his journey under the capable mentorship of Leo Dekroo for the following seven years.

Leo and his brother Doug, better known as The Dekroo Brothers, are famous for a hit single in the 1960’s titled ‘And Her Name Is Scarlet’.

After gaining experience with various artists and bands Bernie decided to go it alone taking vocal lessons and moving to Newcastle.

Professionalism is a key ingredient to Bernie’s solo shows with crowd engagement and providing an exceptional sound highest on his priority list.

Bernie will rock out the Tilligerry RSL from 7:30pm on Saturday 9 February, with unmistakable covers from artists such as Hunters and Collectors, Dire Straits, Greenday, The Eagles, and Chris Issac.

The Tides Bistro kitchen opens for dinner at 5:30pm.
