It was all about glamorous frocks and stylish suits at Bulahdelah Central School’s Year 12 Formal Celebrations held last week.
Parents and school staff joined the young adults at Bulahdelah Golf Club for a night of memories and the of snapping of hundreds of photographs that will last a lifetime.
Ebony Ding from Bundabah said she spent months searching for the perfect gown, deciding on a pale pink chiffon dress just days before the big event.

“I began looking about six months ago but couldn’t find anything I liked, I was panicking a bit,” she said.
“But two days before the formal, I walked into a shop and saw exactly what I wanted in my favourite colour.”
Dinner was enjoyed in the elaborately decorated function room and was followed by tears, laughter and applause during the formal speeches.
Speaking on behalf of the graduating class, Hannah Rietveld and Jayden Lilley thanked the teachers who had guided and supported them during their final school year.
Parent Fiona Minett, Year Advisor Casey Connell and Principal Don Hudson congratulated the students on completing their schooling and wished them all the best for their futures.
Graduating student Kyle Shultz attended Bulahdelah Central School since Kindergarten and said the Formal was a fitting end to his school life.
“It was a lot fun and a good way to celebrate the end of 13-years of school,” he said.
“I’m going to miss seeing my friends every day, it certainly feels odd that we’re all moving on.”
Kyle told News Of The Area he is planning on completing an acting course at TAFE next year and plans to open a comic book themed café with his brother in the future.
The formal evening concluded with more photographs and dancing.
