A public meeting is to be held at the  Bulahdelah School of Arts Hall on Monday 18 May, starting at 10am.

The object of the meeting, which has been organised by the Bulahdelah Health Committee, is to provide an opportunity for the people of Bulahdelah, to understand what transport arrangements are available for patients and their dependents, in the event that they are required to attend or be admitted to hospital at either Taree, Newcastle or elsewhere.

Presentations and information will provide an opportunity for concerned citizens to ask relevant questions and ensure that all present, understand what transport is available for all patients needing medical treatment, particularly senior and disabled persons.

Information will be supplied and discussed by Kath Westwood representing Hunter New England Health, Jennifer Hadfield representing Manning Valley Community Transport and Kath Duggan from Medicare local.

People attending this meeting will be greatly surprised by the range of transport options available.
