The main cause of concern is the continual stopping of parents in the no stopping zone when dropping off children at the front of the school.

Senior Constable Trevor McLeod said disregarding the parking laws at the school puts every child’s safety at risk.

“The crossing and no stopping areas are designed to allow children to arrive at school safely,” he said.

“It would appear that previous warnings have not been heeded and stronger measures are considered.”

Unlike other parking fines, these two offences also have a two demerit point allocation attached.
