‘Buy My Wardrobe’ will be back again, proudly presented by the ‘Pearls of Port Stephens’.

‘The Pearls’ as they are affectionately known, is a group of women who combine friendship and fun with fundraising.

“Thank you to those who have responded so far with their donations for our ‘Buy My Wardrobe’ campaign,” The Pearl’s Kerry Patterson said.

“It’s lovely to live in such a warm community of people who care about each other.”

But Kerry added, “It’s not too late to donate.”

“If you have any clothes that you have decided no longer fit or are ‘sooo’…..last year, why not pay it forward and donate to our cause,” Kerry said.

“You not only will gain space in your wardrobe but someone else will get joy from your offering and of course our farmers will benefit.”

Last year the Pearls raised over $2,000 for Harry’s House in Stockton, a respite home for children with cancer and their families.

Our local pre school and Tea Gardens Primary School also received cheques for $500.

On the day of the Festival, Saturday 13 October, the Pearl’s Pop Up Op Shop can be found in the Dolphin Room of the Tea Gardens Hotel.

If you’d like to know where you can donate your clothes, contact Kerry Patterson on 0422 909 517.
