Craft workshops at Tea Gardens and Forster Libraries

Tea Gardens and Forster Libraries will be hosting both an art workshop and craft workshop over the long summer break.Library fun

On Wednesday 13 January at Tea Gardens Library, from 2pm until 3:30pm, Melanie Lee from The Creative Kind will inspire children to connect and express themselves by painting.

Also on this day At Forster Library from 10:30am until 12pm, Gaye will encourage kids to explore the world of colouring using water colour pencils and then inspire them to craft up their own scene in the underwater world.

Melanie’s workshop provides an environment that allows for the unique and individual expression of each child’s creativity and imagination.

This is a therapeutic session which encourages children to express themselves through art.

It’s a fantastic opportunity, and at $5 per child, it’s an absolute steal.

Then on Wednesday 20 January from 2:30pm until 3:30pm kids can explore the world of colouring using water colour pencils and then inspire them to craft up their own scene in the underwater world.

This totally addictive colouring trend which is taking the world by storm is not only fun and rewarding – it’s really therapeutic too.

This activity is totally free of charge.

Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.

Morning tea will be provided for both workshops.

These workshops are for children aged 5 to 14 years of age.

Children under the age of 7 will need to be accompanied by an adult. Bookings can be made by phoning or coming into the library.
