Curries and More Restaurant
Amrit and Rachana Poudal

Owners of Curries and More, Amrit and Rachana Poudal, are both from Nepal and are now making a valuable contribution to Hawks Nest with their wonderful recently opened restaurant.

Amrit and Rachana are donating their time and food to raise funds for Nepal’s earthquake victims.

They will be serving a delicious traditional meal of Thali, made up of a myriad of dishes including vegetables, meat, chutneys, rice, pappadums and salads.

On the day, Tea Gardens Hotel Motel will host an auction at Curries and More and are now taking delivery of any items suitable for auction.

Please leave your items for auction with your name and address attached at the hotel if you would like to help with this great fundraiser event.

Amrit’s sister is a doctor in Nepal and is currently working in a remote village called Dhadhing, high in the mountains, where most of the town has been destroyed and many people are homeless.

Rather than go through a larger aid agency where many of the funds go on administration we will find, through Amrit’s sister, a way of getting funds straight to those who need it most, or to assist with medical supplies.

Bookings can be made at Curries and More or by calling 4997 1676 and are $30.00 per person.

Please come along to the Curries and More Thali and auction.
