THIS week’s PBL winners are the final awardees for 2017, bringing a successful year of rewarding our valuable young people to a close.

The PBL program, which stands for “Positive Behaviour for Learning” is a behaviour program in all five Raymond Terrace schools, that concentrates on rewarding good behaviour and not focusing on the less than positive.

Each week, News Of The Area will feature the winners within our Raymond Terrace publication, giving further public acknowledgement of the efforts of these students.

This week’s winners are;

Felicity Webb, Hunter River High School – Awarded for raising awareness of the ‘Riding for the Disabled’ Association.
Great work Felicity!

Johanne Montanno, Irrawang High School – For representing our school with pride, passion and dignity at the Lions Youth of the Year competition.

Blake Green, Irrawang Public School – For being a supportive student to others throughout swim school.

Claire Whitter, Raymond Terrace Public School – For being conscious of her safety and the safety of others at the pool during swim school.

Jake Wallace, Grahamstown Public School – For rescuing a puppy and returning it to its owner.

News Of The Area will continue to keenly follow and share news of the PBL program in 2018.
