The business community turned out and enjoyed the wonderful repast which was the official launch of Tastes At The Bay.

Kate Washington Member for Port Stephens told News Of The Area, “It is wonderful to see school students getting opportunities to contribute to community events like this, and their efforts were very much appreciated by everyone present.”

Qualified Chef and Head Teacher of Hospitality at Tomaree High School Karen Shaw told News Of The Area, “I’d like to say that this is the last time that I will be donning my chefs jacket for Tomaree High School.”

She believes that the students have every reason to be pleased with their efforts which took all day to create.
