The Bulahdelah Garden Club erected a display at the recent Bulahdelah Show to commemorate the ANZAC spirit.

Some months ago members started making paper poppies to add to the effect of the display.

Some 600 were made and with the addition of a giant rising sun emblem a quite fantastic display was created.

“Comments from all who saw it were very rewarding,” said Barre Bishop from the Garden Club.

“The beauty of it is that parts of the display can be reused next year for the Anzac centenary,” he said.

Members and friends are reminded the annual Christmas luncheon will be held on Tuesday December 2nd at the Bulahdelah Bowling Club.
